Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) Program

The use of digital technologies is a mandated component of the Victorian Curriculum F-10. Safe and appropriate use of digital technologies, including the internet, apps, computers, and tablets, can provide students with rich opportunities to support learning and development in a range of ways. Increased access to digital technologies enables interactive, collaborative, personalised, and transformative learning.

We recognise that technology is a powerful tool that enhances learning experiences when used appropriately. We believe in a balanced approach where technology is integrated into the curriculum where relevant and beneficial to learning outcomes. While we encourage the use of digital devices to enrich educational experiences, we are mindful of screen time and prioritise activities that promote holistic development. Our aim is to foster critical thinking, creativity, and collaboration while also ensuring the well-being of our students in the digital age. Using technology does not diminish the vital role of our teachers. On the contrary, it transforms teachers from directors of learning to facilitators of learning.
