“A Tune In June” – Help Kids and Families with Cancer!

On Thursday, June 22nd (last week of school) the Junior School Council are organising a whole-school event “A Tune In June”. This is to help raise funds for children and families fighting cancer by making a gold coin donation. Students can wear a splash of yellow or dress up as their favourite pop star to add to the excitement of the day. The money for this fundraiser will provide pre-primary school aged cancer patients access to music therapist or group music sessions and funding to attend a music program or purchase a musical instrument. Why a splash of yellow? The Musical Moments Trust scholarship is in memory of an inspirational little boy whose favourite colour was yellow. Music brought him happiness, whether singing or dancing, music always put a smile on his face.
