A Message From The Principal
There are less than two weeks to go of Term 1 – how the term has flown! This week our Preps had their first full week of school. We have some very tired, yet happy students!
ASSEMBLY
News this week from the Department of Education now allow us to hold whole school assemblies. We will be holding assemblies without parents present this term, however next term we hope (fingers crossed there are no more Covid interruptions) to welcome parents to our assemblies.
LIGHTNING PREMERSHIP
Our year five and six students will be competing in the lightning premiership competition next week. We wish them the very best.
CROSS COUNTRY EVENTS
Over the next two weeks we will be holding the Prep – 2 Cross Country at school and the 3-6 Cross Country at McDonald Reserve. Mr Canny will be distributing information regarding these events.
MRS MCDONALD (Miss Ludbrook)
Congratulations to Miss Ludbrook, who last weekend became Mrs McDonald!
MRS ELLIS (Miss Grass)
Congratulations to Miss Grass, who today, celebrated her marriage. She will return to school next term as Mrs Ellis.
TRAFFIC AROUND THE SCHOOL
Once again we would like to remind parents to please drive carefully and slowly in the streets around the school. There have been some ‘near misses’ in our area.
BIKES AND HELMETS
Please be aware all students riding ‘scooters’ and bikes are required to wear helmets. We have spotted a number of students riding to school on scooters or bikes without helmets on. Please stay safe and wear a helmet.
LAST DAY OF TERM 1
Due to Easter the last day of school for term 1 is THURSDAY 1st APRIL. School will finish at 2.30pm on Thursday 1st April.

TENNIS
On Friday the 26th of February 10 students represented Bellaire at the City to Surf District tennis event held at the Grovedale Tennis Courts. All students had a wonderful time, used exemplary sportsmanship and demonstrated fair play throughout the tournament. Emily Carr progressed through the pool matches but unfortunately lost her Semi-final. Trent Salter and Sam Carr both won their Semi-final and both boys will represent Bellaire at the Division finals on the 17th March at Geelong College
