A Message From The Principal
There are only two weeks to go of the school year and so much happening during this time!
TRANSITION – Today we had our second whole school transition session. The students not only spent time in their learning area, they also met their class and their teacher. (Please note – new teachers to the school were not in attendance today but will be at next week’s transition session). It was wonderful to see the excitement. The teachers have worked extremely hard on the structure of the classes.
SENIOR EXCURSION TO ADVENTURE PARK – The Seniors were fortunate to have wonderful weather for their excursion to Adventure Park. It was a fabulous day, there was only a small number permitted in the park so there were no lines, no waiting and lots of fun to be had!
END OF 2020 / START OF 2021 – 2020 ends for students on Thursday 17th December at 3.30pm (normal finish time). 2021 will begin for students on FRIDAY 29th JANUARY, the first two days of 2021 are curriculum days for our students.

WE WANT TO HEAR FROM YOU – BUILDING WORKS – Our school has received $7.64 million dollars in State Government funding to upgrade and modernise your school, including Block B (which is our Junior Building). We want to hear from our parents, carers and locals about what you’d like to see in your school.

Prep and Junior Sports Day Fun!
Our Preps and Juniors had a fabulous time on their sports day! Here are a few action shots.
Mangoes are coming this Tuesday 8th of December!
As the mango trays are too heavy for students to carry, a parent will be required to collect. Please wear a mask on School Property, and maintain social distancing.
Please collect your Mango tray from the Uniform Shop during these scheduled times:

Our Temp Term 4 menu will not be available on Friday 11 December. All orders need to be placed through the special menu for FRIDAY 11 December via QKR .
PLEASE NOTE THERE IS A SEPERATE MENU FOR MORNING TEA.
It looks a bit different than in other Terms due to no parent help in the canteen at this time.
Cut off for orders are 9a.m on MONDAY 7 December. Strictly no late orders can be taken due to pre-ordering requirements.

ICE-CREAMS (Delivered to the classroom)
All Ice-creams pre-ordered via QKR will be delivered to the classroom in freezer bags. No Over the Counter Sales with cash at lunch time.
The canteen will reopen for 2021 on Monday 1 February 2021.
We would like to sincerely thank all the school families who have supported the school canteen over this very difficult year. Thank you for all the kind messages we have received from students and families. I would like to personally thank Leanne McDonald who has been a tower of strength to me to enable us to continue to provide this service to our school community during difficult times. It was a pleasure for both of us to put a smile on the students faces even with a simple morning tea/lunch order.
To all our Bellaire families have a well deserved break.
We hope to have our very valued parent helpers and our over the counter lunchtime sales return in 2021 but we will need to wait and see.
